Liverpool Football Club LFC Calendar 2017
This is a series of original illustrations and designs inspired by the Liverpool Football Club.
The concept of the designs is based on the weekly #MyLFCMatchdayImage (Check it out on Twitter and Insta). Tried my own doodles but never quite made it to the final shortlist. Put together a few of these posters and the idea took off.
Since it was the year end and I had a one month 'winter' break; why not?
The first two designs I did was for the month of May & June. The concept was to visually represent the players (and the club) through simple shapes and elements. After further edits and drafts, the theme of this series became more evident.
Challenging myself further, I did not only want to create a conventional calendar stand but something more. With reference to other calendar designs found on Behance & Pinterest, I managed to design and play around with the die-cuts to create a calendar frame (see below) as such.
