Beats and rhythm are two basic music concepts which we are taught since young, but do we really understand what it means? Hong Kong is one of the most popular cities around the world for both investors and tourists, but can we really appreciate the culture? City lights and all the noise from the environment have crowded us away from truly understanding the essentials in our life

Thus, the aim of this project is to design a visual exploration of beats and rhythm in the form of a short video montage from the 5 months I have spent here living in Hong Kong as an exchange student. Through this video, audience will grasp a better understanding of these concepts and appreciate how beats & rhythm are actually prevalent in our everyday life.
